Estate Planning, Succession and Retirement Planning are all
very personal matters, and at Gamble Hartshorn, we treat them that
way. We will help you
organize your affairs so that you not only achieve your goals, but
you achieve them in the most tax efficient way for you, your heirs
and your other beneficiaries.
In our opinion, every person should have the basic estate planning documents. These documents include a Will, a Health Care Power of Attorney and a Durable Power of Attorney. If it is appropriate in your situation that more complex documents should be part of your plan, we will help guide you through those more complex issues.
We will be happy to show you the benefits that can arise from using such tools as an A-B Trust (credit shelter trust) or a Life Insurance Trust. Perhaps a lifetime gifting program for your loved ones is appropriate for you. Such a gifting program has the potential to save many tax dollars.
Most of us have benefited at one time or another from the generosity of those who have preceded us. If you have such a desire, we can help you establish a Charitable Trust that will enable you to reduce your current income taxes and future estate taxes and at the same time provide a significant benefit to your favorite charity or university.
Providing an orderly succession for the transfer of your business is a wonderful gift to the next generation. This is not easily accomplished and we would like to help you with that difficult task. At the same time, we can review your qualified and non-qualified retirement plans and help you develop a strategy to maximize the benefits of these plans.
We want to get to know you and we want you to get to know us.
Therefore, there is no cost for the initial consultation.

Upon the death of a loved one, our attorneys will guide you
through the Probate estate administration process.
Depending upon the size of the estate and the issues
involved, this can be a very simple process or an extremely complex
one. Gamble Hartshorn
will get you started, guide you through the process, and help you
or your executor complete the process in an economical and efficient
manner.
If you need an advocate to contest or defend a will, Gamble Hartshorn will act on your behalf to help you resolve that difficult situation through negotiation or a trial, if necessary.
